Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions are a legally binding agreement between the property owner-customer (Client) and Soft Wash Clean LLC and the owners, subcontractors, persons, employees known as (Company). This covers execution of services in exchange of payment for exterior cleaning services, soft wash and pressure wash services, also including all other services. The terms and conditions may change without notice and are available via our website, email and/or a hard copy.
A requirement before any work is started is a requirement that these conditions are understood prior to commencement of project and acknowledged. This is a binding agreement.
Water Usage and Authorizations
The Client agrees to make available and grant the right to use on-site water supplied from outdoor spigots with screw on threads. The Client supplies all the water for the project without compensation. Any previously damaged spigots are not the Company’s responsibility. The Company is given permission and access before the service date to check service needs, and after service to check completions and services rendered. Access to the property is authorized by the Client.
Scheduling
Scheduling may be affected by weather, and circumstances beyond the Company’s control, making best efforts to minimize scheduling conflicts. Expectations for the Client are to provide a time for services to be completed and provide necessary precautionary checks for property readiness.
Electrical
The Company does not utilize Client’s electrical power and the Client must shut off breakers to the outside receptacles, electrically powered features and fixtures prior to cleaning services commencing. This is especially important for receptacles or outlets without exterior covers. The Client must seal any unsealed electrical components and fixtures, The Company will not be held liable nor accountable for any issues within or outside of the home or business structure unrelated to the cleaning service or any other Company services.
The Company is not responsible for any/all damages due to loose, non- maintained, improperly installed siding, windows, doors, wood rot, defective areas of construction, weep holes, stucco cracks, cracked or open windows, ceiling lights, roof issues or leaks, fading paint, oxidized surfaces, loose coatings, flaking or loosened paint, termite damages, improperly secured wires or cables, loosened or oxidized gutter-soffits-pool cages, screens windows, facias, downspouts, electrical fixtures, unsealed voids, lack of caulking, loose mortar or masonry on any area. Cleaning and washing may result in revealing blemishes and damages, which if present, tend to stand out and the Company is not liable. The Company will assist in identifying areas of concern during the estimating process if done on site-as possible.
Weathertight
The Company operates with the expectations that the Client’s property is in good repair and watertight, including all electrical, window seals, door seals and the Company may not be held accountable for water intrusions into structures, roofs, doors, or any other entry point. The Client will cover or move sensitive plants which may become shocked or are sensitive to cleaners during the Company’s service.
Wood Doors and Features
Wood-Stained doors and other features will need to be covered by the Client to avoid any damage from cleaners necessary for completing the project. Some stains such as efflorescence, grease, some soils, artillery fungus, tree saps, paint and stain splatters may not be removed through usual washing methods. Some stains may need specialized cleaning methods at additional costs. There are stains that cannot be removed with Company services offered. Wood surfaces typically clean to a lighter color, much like newer wood appearances, depending on species, stains, coatings, weathering and maintenance.
Safety and Courtesy
While the Company is on the property performing work, the Client is responsible to maintaining that other persons, children, and pets are away from the work area, and to stay off cleaned areas for at least 12 hours after work is completed, as a safety precaution.
Roof Wash Acknowledgement
The Client understands that roof cleaning is designed to eliminate organic growth, which may take more time for dead growths to completely release from roof surfaces. Typically, the roof will show very clear results, yet all roofs are of different ages, types and maintenance may show variations. Guidelines of the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturing Association are acknowledged and utilized on asphalt roofs.
Moving and Replacements
Moving of furniture, grills, planters and any other items are responsibility of the Client. Any movement of items by the Company is to be accepted with no responsibility by Company for any damage, breakage, or any storage issues. Failure to provide a clear work area free of obstacles is the responsibility of the Client. The Company may assess a charge for moving all items which may need to be cleared.
Windows and Screens
Windows are rinsed after house and structure washings, but hard water spots may be present due to water hardness issues. The Company is not responsible for window washing services which are not included in the Company proposals or estimates.
Content Use and Releases
The Client agrees to allow the Company to take and use any photos, videos, descriptions of property, including reviews in the context of Company use, training or advertising without compensation to the Client, who will not seek any punitive actions nor court actions. Company is not to include sensitive information of Client names or addresses. Company advertising on company vehicles or signs will be allowed on Client property while on site.
Damages
The Company must be allowed to view and witness any possible alleged damage, and obligated under terms and conditions that is a direct result of negligence, operator error or willful misconduct. The Company has the sole option to inspect, correct, repair and for contracting repair decisions to any damages and given 30 days from written receipt of alleged issue.
Payments
Due on completion of work unless Client and Company have other arrangements documented. Cash, checks and electronic checks are accepted. The Client agrees to pay any costs incurred by the Company in a collection process for unpaid amounts.
Cancellation of service within 24 hr. of scheduled service results in a $75 fee. Non-payments of agreed upon price, 31 days past service incur a 20% late fee monthly.
Important Reminders
Rust, grease, oil and some soil splash-back stains, also metal oxidation and gutter striping- do not always remove completely, even with professional cleaners and applications. NOT ALL STAINS, IMPERFECATIONS, OXIDATIONS, FILMS, Etc., MAY BE REMOVED. The Company has a Best-Efforts Policy as determined by the Company, not the Client. Most importantly, Soft Wash Cleaners LLC strives to conduct professional services in a safe, effective and pleasant manner!
